*Greek Antipodes Festival 2010
Over a weekend in March, the Antipodes Festival takes over Lonsdale Street’s Greek Precinct to celebrate all things Greek.
Greek Antipodes Festival shares with Melbourne a culture synonymous with good food and a strong appetite for what is known as a ‘glendi’ or a party.
Catch local and international performers, pick up some loukoumades (Greek donuts), a souvlaki (or two), or even take part in the very fun Zorba ‘til You Drop dancing competition.
